Working groups

Working Groups are exclusive, member-only sessions designed for internal auditors and related professionals across all sectors. They provide a collaborative environment to exchange ideas, address sector-specific challenges, and shape best practices. Each group meets regularly and combines expert presentations with interactive discussions.

Participation is completely free for IIA Luxembourg members, and every session counts towards Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. Working Groups are the ideal place to stay informed, expand your network, and strengthen your professional expertise.

On Monday 17th March, Global Assurance ArcelorMittal hosted the lunch &  learn session of the IIA Luxemburg  Chapter and AFCE Luxemburg Chapter  Working Group.
Members of both chapters used to occasion to meet and to discuss on the topic of Fraud Risk Assessment based on presentations by Francesca Redi, ArcelorMittal, and Loïc Guillemin, PWC.
The presentations and the discussions led by Vishal Arora, focused on the importance of a robust Fraud Risk Assessment in the context of Internal Audit Plans, Fraud Prevention and Fraud Awareness.

On Thursday 27th March, Global Assurance ArcelorMittal hosted the most recent lunch &  learn session of the IIA Luxemburg  Chapter and ISACA Luxemburg Chapter.
Members of both chapters used to occasion to meet and to discuss on the topic of SOx Governance and Internal controls: Impact and opportunity of automated controls.
The presentations and the discussions  focused on the opportunities of enhancing internal controls by use of automated controls and the impact on the audit approach of such controls, requiring a combined approach of business / SOX auditors and IT auditors.
