Working Groups

Working Groups are an exchange and knowledge sharing platforms for IIA Luxembourg members working on specific sectors of activity. Meetings are held on a regular basis with the aim to discuss commun interest topics.

Banking 

​

Group dedicated to the banking industry giving members a real opportunity to discuss hot topics and best practices. Its main objective is to share knowledge and experience on specific internal audit topics (regulatory, operational, governance but also methodology). It brings together main representatives of the Luxembourgish market.

​

Group gathering internal auditors from the Luxembourg insurance sector, aimed at sharing best practices, experience, and methodologies on Insurance related operational and regulatory topics.

German Speaking

​

Group for the german speaking community of auditors in Luxembourg across all industries (financial and non-financial), aiming to discuss hot topics, trends and emerging risks (technological, regulatory, operational, governance). Each session starts with a presentation given by confirmed experts, followed by an interactive session of knowledge sharing of the members

Liebe Teilnehmer*innen unserer deutschsprachigen Arbeitsgruppe, 

 

die nächste IIA-Veranstaltung unserer deutschsprachigen Arbeitsgruppe ist für Freitag, den 17. Mai 2024 geplant und ich darf euch mitteilen, dass Admir Fejzic (Director – PwC Advisory) eine Präsentation zum Thema "Umstellung auf den T+1-Abwicklungszyklus" geben wird. In seiner Präsentation wird er auf die verabschiedete Regeländerung der SEC eingehen, welche den Standardabwicklungszyklus für die meisten US gehandelten Wertpapiere von zwei Geschäftstagen („T+2“) auf einen Geschäftstag („T+1“) ändern wird.  Die verabschiedete Regel tritt am 28. Mai 2024 in Kraft und wird auch viele Compliance - und Riskomanagementfunktionen in Luxembourg betreffen.
