Alfonso de la Fuente Garrigosa

Alfonso de la Fuente Garrigosa is a senior auditor with over 30 years audit experience, both in the private and public sector. Alfonso has served as an EU official for over 26 years, at the European Court of Auditors (ECA), the European Commission, and the External Action Service (Delegation in Palestine). At the ECA, Alfonso is currently responsible for Sustainability Reporting, and for Art Management. He chairs an EU interinstitutional working group for relations with universities.
Alfonso holds a Master Degree in Economics by the University of Barcelona, a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Economics and Business from Bridgewater College of Virginia, a Postgraduate in Audit from Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona, and a Master’s Degree in Public Management from Université de la Lorraine, with a thesis focusing on the use of art as a management tool. He is a Certified Government Auditing Professional, member of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Luxembourg, and member of the Board of Amis de l’Université de Luxembourg.
