Thierry has over 20 years of experience in the Luxembourg financial industry, specializing in internal audit services. He is a Partner in EY Luxembourg’s responsible for Internal Audit Services. Before joining EY in October 2024, Thierry served as Chief Internal Auditor at the European Wealth Management subsidiary of a major Swiss banking group, and at a Luxembourgish bank and management company of a Belgian banking group. In these roles, he led audit functions across multiple European locations, coordinated with external auditors and regulators, and reported to senior management and regulatory bodies.

Earlier in his career, Thierry spent over a decade at a global audit firm, managing internal audit assignments for various regulated entities. He served as a Board member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Luxembourg for three years, until October 2024, where he led a working group focused on knowledge sharing and best practices in banking.

Thierry holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Liège, Belgium, and is a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Financial Services Auditor. He speaks English and French.
