Gerardo is a State Executive of the Italian Ministry of Foreing Affairs, currently seconded to the NATO Support and Procurement Agency as Chief Audit Executive.  He has extensive government and international experience gained at Italian Ministry of Foreign affairs (2010-2017, as Ministerial Counsellor and Consul General of Italy), at United Nations Development Programme (2009/2010, as Senior Technical Advisor in Project Management) at European Union (2000-2010, as Auditor and Team Leader) and in the private sector (1994-2000, as Chartered Accountant and Registered Auditor).

 

Gerardo has also extensive academic experience, having been Adjunct Professor of Project Cycle Management at University IUAV of Venice (2006-2011), Adjunct Professor of Programming and evaluating public investments at University of Calabria (2005), Visiting Professor at post-graduate courses at University of Pisa (2011-2013).
