Introduction to Auditing AI
Overview
This one-day course, "Introduction to Auditing AI," equips internal auditors, audit managers, IT auditors, and AI project stakeholders with the foundational knowledge and practical skills to audit AI systems effectively. Designed for professionals tasked with AI audits or seeking to integrate AI-specific risks into their frameworks, the course bridges the gap between technical, legal, and risk-related dimensions of AI.
Participants will explore AI fundamentals, clarifying its legal and technical definitions through interactive exercises. The core of the course focuses on AI auditing, covering scoping, risk identification, and methodologies for auditing both third-party and internally developed systems. Practical exercises reinforce learning, while a dedicated session on AI Act compliance ensures auditors understand risk levels, roles, and obligations under the regulation.
By the end, attendees will be prepared to assess AI systems for compliance, identify unique risks, and engage stakeholders effectively. The end goal is to empower participants to conduct thorough, AI-specific audits in their organizations.
