Young Professionals Community

The Young Professionals Community was launched in June 2016. The aim of the community is to reach out to the new generation of Internal Auditors and to empower Luxembourg young professionals to build a network, develop new skills and modernise the internal audit profession through networking and knowledge sharing.

IIA Luxembourg organises regularly events for the Young Professional Community.

On 28 October 2020, the IIA Luxembourg Young Professionals Community (the YPC) would like to invite you for a virtual session in order to exchange with your fellow young professionals about the ‘Risk in Focus 2021’ report.

Risk in Focus is an annual report analysing the top business risks which organisations across Europe are facing. The research for Risk in Focus 2021 combines both a quantitative survey and qualitative interviews with CAEs, from across 11 European countries and 10 institutes of internal auditors. For the first time, IIA Luxembourg is part of this research. By using this document as starting point, we would be delighted to discuss (and maybe challenge) the survey’s results, the top risks identified and the emerging risks to prioritise such as “disasters & crisis response” and “climate change and environmental sustainability”.

5.30pm: Introduction – Risk in Focus 2021, presentation of survey’s results and main takeaways

6.00pm: Exchange in small groups – your perspective on the risks identified and the internal audit focus areas in 2021

6.30pm: Group discussion

The event will take place via Zoom and is free of charge.

Registration deadline: 23 October 2020
