Claudia Casu has more than 20 years of experience within ArcelorMittal group holding various functions within SOx, Internal Assurance and business in different countries in Europe and CIS.

She graduated Economics in the university of Galati in Romania and she started her career there in the Finance Team of ArcelorMittal Galati, Romania in 1998.  Subsequently she joined the corporate team of  ArcelorMittal, first in Rotterdam and subsequently in Luxembourg holding different positions in SOX compliance. In this role she played a key role in the roll out of SOX compliance in Corporate and the ArcelorMittal Group’s sites in CIS.

After moving back to the  business she built up the shared service center serving the Group’s  European sites in Galati, Romania, before taking the lead of the Finance Stream in one of the Group’s key SAP transformation projects covering sites multiple European countries prior to joining Global Assurance three years ago. Today Claudia lead’ internal audit and Sox activities for the Flat Carbon Europe segment as Global Assurance Europe Hub Head, with a team based in different sites across Europe.
